AdrenaSense

AdrenaSense “supports adrenals and promotes uninterrupted sleep.” Words like ‘support’ and ‘promote’ are general and without any real meaning in the scientific world. But, they are often used by various companies because they sound good. For instance, a lot of grape juice companies say that their juice promotes a healthy heart.
Does that mean you can just stop taking your heart medication and drink grape juice? Of course not. Grape juice is good for you and it has antioxidants, but it isn’t special heart fluid that will keep you alive until you’re a hundred. So for AdrenaSense you can be confident that the phrase “supports adrenals” is mostly fluff. However, AdrenaSense is designed more as a sleep aid than a health supplement so let’s look at its ingredients to see if it really works.
AdrenaSense Ingredients:
The ingredients in AdrenaSense include: rhodiola, suma, eleuthero root, schisandra (fruit), Ashwagandha, and magnesium stearate.
As you might have noticed, these ingredients are of the herbal variety. AdrenaSense is specifically designed for women (not sure why) and they really emphasizes its all natural ingredients. The good thing with herbal ingredients is that they rarely come with any serious side effects, but the drawback is they are also rarely clinically proven. For instance, there are no clinical trials proving any of the above ingredients to be effective sleep aids. Many of them are used in Traditional Chinese Medicine for that very purpose, however.
AdrenaSense Customer Reviews:
“I can really tell a difference when I take this (and when I don’t). I sleep through the night (when my kids let me) and have more energy during the day. It does work better if you take it in the mid-afternoon when you start to feel the afternoon slump. Gives me enough energy to last the rest of the day, but I dont have trouble going to sleep. I think I am also more resistant to illness when taking this too. Highly reccomend!” – Anonymous
“AdrenaSense didn’t cut it for me. I did feel more healthy and energized during the day but it didn’t help me with my insomnia. I still wake up throughout the night and can’t seem to fall back asleep.” – Karen
Is AdrenaSense Worth Trying?
AdrenaSense is sold in various stores (i.e. GNC) and through several internet vendors. The price varies depending on where you get it, but it is going to cost about $20 anywhere you go. Also, different stores have their own refund policies so check with them to see if that’s an option. Because AdrenaSense is pretty cheap it might be worth trying. You also won’t have to worry about harsh side effects or withdrawal symptoms associated with some pharmaceutical grade sleep aids. However, those sleep aids have proven ingredients and AdrenaSense does not. If falling asleep and staying asleep is your number one priority then AdrenaSense is probably not the best option available.
