Dormanex is an all-natural sleeping pill that claims to be “the most effective sleep aid.” Unfortunately, it appears that it wasn’t effective enough to stay on the market. The Dormanex website no longer works and their links to “try Dormanex for free” either don’t work or go to an Acai weight loss pill free trial. Looking at the customer reviews on the internet it easy to see why Dormanex failed. Google Dormanex and the majority of the hits will be past customers complaining that Dormanex scammed them out of their money. Let’s take a closer look at Dormanex.
What’s in Dormanex?
Because it appears that Dormanex has been discontinued, there is little information regarding the product. Among the advertised ingredients include:

• Poria Entire Plant
• Sichuan Lovage Stem
• Zhi Mu Stem
• Chinese Licorice Root
• Luo Han Guo Fruit
Melatonin. Dormanex claims to contain 99.5 percent pure Melatonin. This is great but take it with a grain of salt because most Melatonin on the market is 99.5 percent pure so it doesn’t really make Dormanex stand out from the pack. Melatonin is one of the more popular sleep aid ingredients on the market. Why? It helps the body control its own internal clock and induces the body into sleep. However, it must be taken at the right dosage or it will not work. Too little of melatonin and you won’t feel any of the effects. Too much melatonin and it will actually act counter reactively plus side effects. Does Dormanex contain the right amount of Melatonin? With the website down, we have no way of knowing but judging from the numerous negative customer reviews it is doubtful.
6 Chinese Herbs. The other ingredients in Dormanex are Chinese herbs. Don’t get us wrong, Chinese herbs have many health benefits but they aren’t going to do a whole lot for you as far as fighting insomnia is concerned.
The ingredient profile in Dormanex is below average. Melatonin is a great sleep aid ingredient but it needs other effective sleep aid ingredients to make a substantial impact.
Beware of the Dormanex Trial Offer
The Dormanex trial offer sounds easy. You only need to pay $3.97 shipping and handling and you get a sleep kit worth $100. However, the fine print reveals a different story. If you do not cancel within 15 days, your credit card will be charged over $100, and you will be stuck in their auto ship program getting charged hundreds of dollars a year.
Even if you do cancel within 15 days, you still will be out around $50 because you have to pay for the return shipping and they charge a hefty restocking fee.
The links that we were able to find for the free trial for Dormanex were either not working or rerouted to a similar “free trial” for an Acai product.
Unfortunately, it seems companies will do anything to earn a buck these days.
Is Dormanex worth purchasing?
NO! NO! NO! Dormanex is more of a scam than a real product.
