Dream Essentials

Dream essential is an online company that specializes in sleep aids of a more traditional variety. Their main products are sleep masks designed like colorful butterflies or cats and they also come in plain colors. In addition to the traditional sleep masks, they also carry specialized therapeutic sleep masks and even aromatherapy masks. Other product lines include body pillows, pillow speakers, dry eye treatment and ear plugs. They also have a few product that help wake you up in what they claim is a more natural way which is supposed to make you wake up feeling better.
Is it Safe?
There really isn’t much to worry about when you are talking about a sleep mask or a body pillow unless your roommate plans on putting the pillow over your head, in which case your roommate is the dangerous thing not the pillow. As far as sleep masks, pillows, sunrise alarm clocks and ear plugs go, there aren’t any known side effects except maybe looking stupid if you wear them in public.
The eye moisturizing system is basically just a sleep mask with damp sponges. Dream Essentials sells scented moisturizing sprays as well and the only real chemicals inside are aloe and cucumber.
Is There a Money Back Guarantee?
Dream Essentials will allow you to return the products unused within thirty days for a refund but there is no satisfaction guarantee. If you use the product and are not satisfied they “reserve the right to refuse a refund.”
Are the Products Worth Purchasing?
It’s best to consider the products individually to determine whether or not they would do you any good.
Sleep Masks: I personally can’t stand to wear these things. I find them irritating but if you are used to wearing them to keep the light out, they work. Dream Essentials sells these masks for upwards of $25 but they have baseline models for just a few dollars. There’s nothing really special about a Dream Essentials mask compared to the ones you can find at the store except the added charge for shipping.
Sound Conditioners: There’s not much for me here either since I like to sleep in silence, but if you like the sound of the ocean or breezes these are an option. They run between $50 and $120.
Body Pillows: Dream Essentials has two models available for body pillows; a long U shaped pillow that sells for just over $100 and smaller body-length pillow that runs between $60 and $90 depending on the model.
Ear Plugs: They have a wide variety of ear plugs that really aren’t that different than any other models you may be familiar with.
Dry Eye: This is the only product that is somewhat unique to Dream Essentials. Not too many companies market an eye moisturizing goggle set. It’s much like placing cucumber slices over your eyes but they cost a lot more and come in a variety of colors.
Conclusion
Dream Essentials sells a number of products that might help you sleep but there really isn’t anything that distinguishes their product line from anyone else’s.
