NightCalm Review
I have mixed feelings about the Night Calm website. I normally favor information over presentation, but there is a point at which too much information becomes a burden or distraction. I think that Night Calm’s website comes dangerously close to that point. They have almost everything you want in a website as far as information goes (except a complete supplement facts table). They explain how each ingredient works, why people struggle with sleep disorders and how to fix the problem. They include refund information, customer testimonials, and the opportunity to buy directly from the site. The problem is there is so much extra information that it becomes tedious to sift through the entire website. They layout is not well designed and the website has an overall feel of an infomercial.
Night Calm Ingredients:
The ingredients in Night Calm include: Griffonia simplicifolia, Niacin, vitamin B6, Magnesium, Melatonin, Valerian root, Lemon balm, and Folic acid.
Griffonia simplicifolia is a “natural source of 5HTP (5-Hydroxytryptophan), an enhancing amino acid that is a highly absorbable type of tryptophan and a direct precursor to serotonin.” Serotonin is eventually converted to melatonin which is the primary hormone controlling your sleep/wake cycle. 5-HTP has been used to treat migraines in addition to insomnia. Niacin is good for your health, but not really related to sleep. Vitamin B6 is important because, among other functions, it is required to produce serotonin. Magnesium deficiency has been linked to sleeping disorders so it’s not a terrible idea to add some of it to the formula. Melatonin is the most powerful and effective of these ingredients. Visit http://bestsleepaids.org/melatonin/ to learn more about melatonin. Valerian root and lemon balm are common herbal remedies for anxiety and trouble sleeping. Their effectiveness varies depending on the person. Folic acid is not directly related to sleep, but it impacts certain neurotransmitters in the brain that are related to sleep. So it is nice to have as part of the formula. In summary, Night Calm has a great blend of quality ingredients.
Night Calm Customer Reviews:
“I tried sleeping pills a few months ago but I hated them. They really affected me in the day too. I just wanted to sleep properly, wake up feeling refreshed and be able to get on with my day. That’s exactly what I get with NightCalm. I’ve already recommended them to a few work colleagues, who have been complaining about bouts of insomnia.” – L. Givens
“This stuff is overpriced. Don’t get me wrong it actually works pretty well but why pay that much money? My friend told me he uses it because it curbs his appetite but that didn’t happen for me.” – Anonymous
Is NightCalm Worth Trying?
One box of Night Calm costs $46.60 and it comes with their 180 day money back guarantee. Night Calm is definitely a quality sleeping pill, but we wonder about the other benefits that come with it (i.e. increased libido, decreased appetite, reduced migraines, etc.). If it does some of those things in addition to helping you fall asleep then perhaps it is worth the price. But, if all you get is a sleeping pill (which I believe to be the case) then you can find cheaper sleeping pills with the same ingredients.
