NightFood Bar Review
NightFood Bar is a revolutionary new product for everybody who feels like they could use a bit more sleep. NightFood is a great tasting nighttime food bar which supports and enhances your sleep every night in a way that no other product can…. We know there are lots of products out there that claim to help you sleep. What most of them really do (at least the ones that actually do anything) is to simply help you to fall asleep a bit more quickly. Unfortunately, they do nothing to support quality sleep and that is why they often leave you feeling worse the next day.” So how exactly does a NightFood bar work to support quality sleep? Let’s take a look at the ingredients to see if these claims hold up.
NightFood Bar Ingredients:
The main ingredients in NightFood Bar include: Melatonin, Chocamine, and a whole bunch of other stuff. This other stuff doesn’t really have anything to do with sleep; it just helps the bar taste good. These other ingredients include things like Oreo cookie crumbs, organic brown rice syrup, soy protein nuggets, Oleic Sunflower, and more.
Melatonin is a well-known sleep aid and you can learn more about it by visiting: http://bestsleepaids.org/melatonin/. Chocamine, as explained by the makers of NightFood Bars, “is a unique extract from caffeine-free chocolate that utilizes all the healthy stuff from chocolate and leaves behind all the empty fat, calories, and sugars. It helps to decrease hunger, improve mood, and aid in relaxation.”
Essentially NightFood Bar relies on 1.5 mg of Melatonin to help you fall asleep quickly and they hope that the 150 calories from carbohydrates, fats, and protein will keep your metabolism active while you sleep. It seems logical enough, but unfortunately there is little evidence to support the theory that by eating late at night you are actually helping yourself get a better night’s rest.
NightFood Bar Customer Reviews:
“I have the tendency of worrying too much and a regular bedtime for me could be 1/2/3 am and getting up at 5/5:30 am. This bar allowed me to go early to bed and with it diminish my over concerns since I fall asleep very fast. I do recommend it to anybody, especially for those ones using pills to fall asleep. I guess since I don’t drink, things like this have a fast effect on me, so I really take 1/2 bar before heading to bed and it does what it says. Get it. Every penny invested to acquire the product is worth it.” – Janisse
“I have taken lots of sleeping pills and most of them make you fall asleep real quick but throughout the night they wear off and I tend to wake up around 2 or 3 in the morning. I thought these bars might change that but they didn’t. I still have the same problem. Not worth it.” – Anonymous
Overall Value:
A 6-pack of NightFood Bars costs $11.99, but if you subscribe for more boxes you get better value for them. There is no information regarding a refund so we assume there isn’t one. I think you are better off taking melatonin pills because they are much cheaper and are likely just as effective. If you are a night-time snacker then NightFood Bars may work great for you because it’s better than eating ice cream.
